Searching kids at the turnstiles
Just when you don't think they club can't come up with any more stupid ideas to piss fans off today I got to the turnstiles and the steward told me that my had to go to the other end of the queue to get searched. I told my boys to wait while I got searched then we all walked towards the turnstile together once the fella had done. The steward told me again that they had to be searched at the other end of entrance J but I could go in, I just said "they ain't going anywhere and you ain't searching my kids" and walked in with them.

Apparently this happened to a lot of people today. When will these idiotic cunts learn for fuck sake.

Ornchurch - Ah, I see. I hadn't thought of that. Was assuming they may have changed the process or something.

Here's a recent video of a really invasive frisk search by a dyke looking TSA flight security on a TV political pundit...

Bang on that. I don't care if they want to use the nonce wand or big metal detectors but the parents should be with them. All they need is separate queues, as long as they're also not asking to frisk the kids it shouldn't matter. They must just have some brain dead people coming up with the way they implement ideas over there.

It's just one thing after another every week in a long list of things that are easy to do but they manage to massively fuck up.

Sadly though it is not great I think common sense in this day and age must prevail and whether it is liked or not racial profiling should be a norm in any non Muslim country, things would move slightly quicker then.

Unless they are carrying big bags.

No suicide bomber has under been under 15 have they Zoltan?

Searching them is not wrong, the idiotic way they are going about doing it at the moment is though.

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
Searching Fans is excellent for security purposes required but searching kids under say 15 who look under 15 is ridiculous and wrong .

It's not that odd Baggins. At the start of the season there were more people getting in earlier for happy hour but now they are starting to get to know the area they are starting to use the pubs and get there later.

Kids should be accompanied by their parents when being searched.... 100 percent obvious to me.

As far as the queue-ing goes....get there earlier.

From the West Ham website.
'Turnstiles to London Stadium will open two hours before kick-off for every West Ham United home game this season'

All people should be searched when entering stadiums. Should be done at cinemas as well.

The queues weren't that bad the first couple of months but are now getting worse. Odd.

I have more trouble getting around in the concourse than I ever did in the UP BML.

More crowded even though there is more space.

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
Have read that if want to go up to 66k will need to add more toilets; bars etc to enable the licence. Concourse is being now so will be quite tight with extra fans.

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
66,000 going there and safe standing will never happened side, no worries there.

Surely it doesn't take much to have a designated queue for folk with kids who then can stand behind the kids whilst they're nonce wanded and then the adult afterwards, kids then can wait just inside the ground as they go in.

Just takes a small bit of planning, some common sense and some signage.

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
Has to be done better. Simple. 66 000 can believe we will soon be having crowds like that. Especially with safe standing being discussed. Where will they come from.looking at those under the tarpaulin do sent look that many.

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
If they go up to 66,000 they'll need more turnstiles and stewards for searching duty

The queues on the main drag in are massive now, add another 9,000

My 7 year old as was waived through and the steward made a quick glance in the bag. Took about 2 seconds. Guess depends where are you.

The searching is a pain causing those queues to get in but mustn't complain, sign of the times I'm afraid.

What would you rather happened Bom - they inconvenience you a little bit by searching you and your kids and not finding anything, or not searching anyone and missing a suicide bomber who ends up killing your kids and 50k other people?

Re: Searching kids at the turnstiles
Noticed this game before last. Bloke with his daughter gets searched first, but then told his daughter has to go to the far side on her own to be searched. He tells him his daughter stays with him, and you can't have children going through on their own. Security has to check with his superior if it's alright.
